Green Bloggers Discussing Politics

Attention Green Bloggers:

Green Blogger Election Button for 2012

Attention Green Bloggers

We – Alicia from Green Lifestyle Changes and Leah from The Crunch Farm Baby – feel that the upcoming November election will have a significant impacts on the environment and green living, including areas such as natural parenting, protecting our children and our rights.  We encourage green bloggers to share their political opinions about the elections, candidates and issues through posts on their blogs.  Then come back here and link your posts to the linky below, and add the linky to your post. Posts can take the form of pro- or con- a particular candidate or talk about the candidates in general. Posts can be around an issue, or how a candidate stands on an issue.  It is our hope that green bloggers will talk about how the political process and elections can and will affect green living.  We do not require the post to tie directly into green living to join the linky, as long as you generally blog about green living or natural parenting.

We will monitor the linky to ensure that posts are from blogs that touch on green living.  Posts from purely political sites or where neither the post nor the site relates to green living will be removed.  We hope posts to cover a range of strong ideas, thoughts and points of view.  Posts will not be removed for their political viewpoint and we encourage commenting on each others posts and discussing ideas.  Please remain civil and note that the comment policy on each blog is at the discretion of that blogger.

Rules:

1. Posts must either be from Green or Natural Parenting Bloggers OR must relate “green” issues to current US politics.
2. Posts must be about current political issues, the political process or the current election issues.  They may promote a particular point of view, opinion or candidate.
