Photo Montage from Renewable Sales – A Solar Mecca!

On Thursday, I attended “Understanding Risks and Rewards: A Conversation on Community Solar” organized by the North East Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) as a pre-event to their Building Energy 12 Conference in Boston next month. The session was organized by The Cadmus Group and my co-worker was one of the speakers.   Renewable Sales hosted this session at their location in Holliston, MA where they are a distributor of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Solar Thermal products.   It was like a Mecca for renewable energy geeks!

This is the sleekest solar panel I’ve ever seen!

We spent almost 4 hours talking about solar PV and solar thermal installations, options for local goverments and non-profits, networking with developers, community representatives and staff from The Cadmus Group and Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources.  I consider this a great way to spend a Thursday evening!

Happy Greening,
Alicia

p.s.  My son says I should title this post “Mommy and the Solar Panels”
